I am a flexible tutor, as I believe that my job would be to teach you what you want to learn. My lessons will mainly be conversational or pronunciation-based, but I am also more than happy to help with grammar, spelling, vocabulary etc. Having experimented with many methods for learning languages, I am quite knowledgeable should you need a way to study.

My name is Richard Woods, and I love languages. I have loved them since I was a child, and would often like learning new things about my own language. I also like improving myself, and developing skills. Because of this, I know what a student of English would need: a patient person who is committed to helping them improve their English-language skills, and their confidence. Having learned languages myself, I understand the role a tutor should play; I will be a coach and a teacher for you, the student. I have come to learn that languages are tools for communication, and not simply grammar, words or sounds. I can help you live the language. That being said, my specialty is the pronunciation of standard British English, and I can teach that to you using exercises.
